I was actually relocated to the Dolphin Hotel dur to renovation, The Dolphin more than met expectations, tthe room being comfortable, clean and well appointed, good value for money and a very friendly and helpful staff, I would certainly stay ay this hotel again

You get what you pay for, was a bit apprehensive first, reading the reviews but booked anyway because of the price, and it was for a short stay, 2 nights. Staff was great. One phone call and they came to your assistance. The TV remote was missing so told them I can't watch tele, he went and got us another TV. At first there wasn't a hair dryer in the room and he got us a new one, after we showed him what facilities we should have on booking.com. Wasn't bothered by them at all. Shower was working and had hot water. Flush works for the toilet.

The room was clean and the carpet was new. Tea and coffee provided. The En suit bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was all a bit shabby, but I didn't mind that.

it was cleanly quiet and pretty and was located in a good place larch Also you can go somewhere to walk there is a sea nearbyI also liked the fact that you do not need to stand at the reception to draw up some papers, you already have passwords and you have a code to get to your room, there are locks everywhere.Therefore, this is no problem.

Heard mixed reviews among them maximum is bad but took a chance, it's a renovated property now & highly recommended. Location 👌 Cleanliness 👍 Value for money🙌 Ease of checking✌️

We had read previous reviews and were worried however we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean and a few fawlty tower moments but didn’t ruin our stay. Water was always hot. Beds were comfy and the staff were so helpful at all times. Great door locking system. Definitely value for money, we didn’t pay 5* prices so wouldn’t expect it. The location was perfect for exploring everywhere. Yes you could hear other people at night but it’s a hotel, people come and go at all hours and didn’t ruin our sleep. Parking was easy, you pay £3 a day at a local off licence and it covers you for your stay.

A well organised hotel very clean room located minutes from the sea front promenade walkable to the main town centre.
